Our support of AppEnhancer support covers three key areas: technical support, upgrades and custom development.

Technical Support

If your maintenance has expired or is about to, we can provide the technical support you need and explore new maintenance plan options that might be a better fit than what you’ve experienced in the past.

Support starts at the beginning, before installation, with a detailed implementation plan customized for the unique circumstances of each organization. Support continues after the installation process and users receive detailed training for using AppEnhancer.

Upgrades

As previously announced by OpenText, here are the end of primary and extended support dates for outdated versions of AppEnhancer (Formerly ApplicationXtender):

• AX 6.5 SP2: all primary and extended support has ended
• AX 7.0 & AX 7.0 SP1: primary support has ended and extended support (year 2 – best effort only) expires January 31, 2019
• AX 8.0: primary support has ended, extended support (year 1 – same level of support expires January 31, 2019, and extended support (year 2 – best effort only) expires January 31, 2020
• AX 8.1: primary support has ended, extended support (year 1 – same level of support, expires January 31, 2020), and extended support (year 2 – best effort only) expires January 31, 2021
• AX 8.1 & AX 8.1 SP1: primary support has ended, extended support (year 1 – same level of support, expires January 31, 2020), and extended support (year 2 – best effort only) expires January 31, 2021
• AX 16.3: Primary Support Ended November 30, 2023, Sustaining Support Started December 1, 2021
• AX 16.6: Primary Support Ends March 31, 2023, Sustaining Support Starts April 1, 2023
• AX 20.3: Primary Support Ends June 30, 2025, Sustaining Support Starts July 1, 2025
• AX 20.4: Primary Support Ends September 30, 2025, Sustaining Support Starts October 1, 2025
• AppEnhancer 22.2 (current version): primary support ends April 30, 2027, Sustaining Support Starts May 1, 2027
