HR Department of a Major Entertainment Company Streamlines the Onboarding Process

Friday, December 1, 2017

A major entertainment company in Orlando that employs over 12,000 employees and hires thousands of new part- and full-time employees each year found that their new employee onboarding process was slowing to a crawl – until they turned to Image One.

They now process new employees 30% faster thanks to automated data extraction technology and process improvements that has led them to an HR digital transformation.

How We Did It

After assessing their new employee onboarding workflow, Image One started by redesigning the cover pages with barcodes for all documents needing to be scanned. These barcodes contain document IDs for eight different document types from applications to background checks.

Data is then automatically extracted in an optimized way based on each document type, and operators key whatever can’t be recognized like hand written social security numbers.

Going Paperless in 2018 Starts with an HR Document & Workflow Assessment

Every HR department is different, so we need to assess your situation to understand what you need and how you will benefit the most for some combination of what we described above. Our no obligation HR document and workflow assessment identifies productivity gaps, how much money can be saved and the cost-justification for it, and a logical progression of process and technology enhancements for the future.

If you request an HR document and workflow assessment from Image One before the end of 2017, we will waive the usual $1,500 fee. This is perfect timing if you’re on a calendar fiscal year: our assessment will give you clarity on scope and budget so you can be paperless and headache-free 2018.
