Ontario Tire Stewardship using new tracking system [VIDEO]

No more filling landfills, no more burning rubber, and now, no more wasting paper for an Ontario tire recycling company.

The Ontario Tire Stewardship has implemented a content management system that will track its sustainability efforts. Right now it tracks 98 percent of the company’s sales of recycled tires.

The program is expected to save the stewardship approximately $500,000.

And if the cash savings weren’t enough, the company is also saying goodbye to time-consuming processing forms. The time spent with the documents will be cut by 33 percent per month.

The new program will align with the organization’s broader goals as well. The company, was initially founded to find innovative ways to recycle tires, and with it’s new content management system, it will also be saving trees!
