Professionals in every field embracing paperless strategies

IT professionals who work in fields such as finance, education and healthcare have long been adopting paperless programs to improve their internal systems and increase organization. But experts in numerous other sectors have taken note of the advantages that document conversion services can offer and have also begun taking steps to make their offices paperless.

While hospitals and pharmacies are already leaders in adopting paperless technologies, one new healthcare field has begun to go digital: veterinary offices. The New Milford Patch recently reported that Animal Care of Oradell, a new animal hospital in New Jersey, offers a full range of medical services for pets. Its paperless office will help veterinarians and owners alike stay organized and up-to-date when it comes to the health of their animals.

Plumbing companies have also realized the benefits of going green and eliminating paper. The Los Angeles-based company Mr. Speedy Plumbing announced that it plans to remove all paper from its operations.

"Our entire office is now computerized and electronic – no more paper," company CEO Alfred Marzouk said in a statement. "We want to do our part to help the community and have quicker response times."

As paperless solutions become more effective and easier to implement, it's likely that even more small business owner will begin making the switch to digital document imaging.
