If you’re going paperless, you’re going to have to communicate with people somehow. Companies that drop the paper should be picking up emails.

When you set up a process for obtaining emails, create goals for your company to reach. How many hundreds, or thousands, can you collect?

Once you have a number in mind for how many emails you want to collect, start asking at every point of contact.

Is the customer is visiting your website? Purchasing something? Asking a question? Ask for an email every time.
